Meeting Physical Needs While Planting Spiritual Seeds -
                   Who We Are
                                        The Ministry
Rushton’s Hope was launched from Oak Hill Baptist Church on 07/07/07 out of a dream by Pastor Ron Cook and his wife Wanda to impact lives with hope in Christ from the inner city to the international in obedience to the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:16-20) This would be done by providing real, relational, and reproductive multicultural, mentoring, mission opportunities "from the steeple to the people" . These would include a variety of weekly/ seasonal activities/events that have touched a multitude of souls since the launch.
                                            The Name
The name Rushton’s Hope comes from the Old Rushton Mill Village/ Community in Griffin Georgia's inner city. This is also the home and ministry base of Ron and Wanda Cook. It is an area with a historic past , but a hurting present. The desire is to bring restoration to this area and beyond  for the future by letting all the hopeless, helpless, homeless, abused & refused, rejected & neglected know that there is hope in Jesus Christ when you cry out to Him.
                                         The Purpose
Rushton's Hope exists to bring Glory to God and Good News to All Men in Obedience to the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:16-20)
