Marquita wasn’t sure where she was going to turn for Thanksgiving and Christmas for her 2 young children and herself. She came by Rushton’s Hope during a busy holiday season to seek assistance for some basic food and other items. It was at that time she asked about Christmas help and we invited her and the kids to our Winter Wonderland Event for Christmas. During the event, they received a hot Christmas meal and adult gift bag, and the little ones were able to play games for toy prizes. Just before Christmas, we visited her to deliver a picture we had taken and framed of her kids with Santa and that’s when we found out that she had no other gifts or food for Christmas. With your help, we immediately met the needs and they had a great Christmas! Marquita and many others want to thank you for your support that made this possible – giving Hope for the Holidays!
