The Root Community Garden
Encouraging Growth in the Life of the Individual and the Community...
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." ~John 15:5
Gardening is a therapeutic and productive interaction with both creation and Creator. Everyone is invited to participate. Activities include:
- tending the garden
- nutrition education
- cooking lessons
- much more
We promote empowerment and dignity, not dependence. We offer free produce and other staple grocery items to anyone who engages in some aspect of ministry.
